Flaunt it Fridays!

**Sorry for posting this late, for some reason it didn't post correctly!!  Sorry about that!!!!!**

I'm so happy to be a part of the Flaunt it Fridays DT!  I just love a fun challenge!! :)  This week on FIF the challenge is to use the sheep on the Country Life cart.  Well, this is another cart on my wish list; so I had to use a different cartridge.  I decided to make this cute diaper card.  The yellow part comes out for you to write on (my camera died so I didn't get a chance to take a picture of it out).

Recipe:

• Sheep cut at 3. from Animal Kingdom
• Diaper pattern is from Homemade Gifts Made Easy (you can see the template here)
• Sentiment was just something I created and printed out on the computer
• Sharpie marker to emphasize the little cuts for the face, feet and to color in the nose
• Glossy Accents for the nose (to make it stand out)
• Flocking on the body (a little hard to see)

Happy Dance and More to Come

Well, I have to say that I have been doing the happy dance for a few days now!  We had a wonderful New Year celebration; some of the family wasn't able to make it because of the weather and the roads, but we're going to try to get together another time.  I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe New Year!
I also had some fun news to share - I made the Flaunt It Friday Design Team!!!  EEEEEK!!!

I can't even tell you how excited and honored I am!! If you haven't been over to Flaunt It Friday you really should!!  They have some fun challenges and the DT is amazing **I still can't believe I get to be a part of it**!!!! We have a fun Blog Hop coming up on January 7th as well (you won't want to miss it).

Here's another card I made.  This one is for one of my friends; she just had a baby and I thought this might make her day. :)

I used the baby from the Smiley cards (download for the Gypsy).  The face is a PK face (thanks again Lisa)!!

TT - Old School!

I know, last minute!!!  I meant to get this done last night, but that didn't work.  Emma over at My Creative Time has a challenge  (that ends today) to go back to the 'Old School' way of making cards.  The challenge is to make a card without any big fancy machines, going back to basics.  Well, here's my take on it.  I know of several people that are really close to having a baby so I thought this would be perfect!!

The paper is from a pack I found at Big Lots so I don't know what brand of paper it is.  I used a border punch to make the little corners and the sticker is from Marcella by K.  I love the sticker and the paper because they're so sparkly! :)  Thanks for stopping by!!!

Baby Card - More Than Favors Challenge

Paula over at More Than Favors has a Wacky Wednesday Challenge for readers to create something themed around BABY!!!  YEAH!  I have a few friends that are pregnant and I had needed to make a few cards for them - so two birds with one stone. :)

I think I like the one on the right better (layout wise), it seemed a little cuter to me.  I used Gypsy Wanderings for all of the cuts.  The patterned paper is from a stack I found at Big Lots a long time ago.  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Baby Blessings

One of the ladies that I visit just had a little boy (I get a little baby hungry)!!  I'm so happy for her, she's such a sweet lady so I knew I had to make a card for her and her new little guy.  Sorry about the picture - I'm working on getting a light box to help with the pictures.  Baby Blessings Amanda!!!!

I used Wild Card for the sentiment and the rattle is from Cuttin' Up.  Thanks for looking!!!!

Baby Shower Card

Emma from My Creative Time is doing something like this for her Throwback Thursday Challenge.  Emma challenged everyone to use the "New Arrival" cartridge.  That, unfortunately, is not one that I own.  If you don't own it, you can just use an older cart (I think Hannah Montana cart will qualify).  The theme is "Baby" so you can do a card, craft, or layout as long as it is "Baby" themed.  It worked out too that my Mother-In-Law needed a cute card for a baby shower she's going to this weekend.  **I love when things work out like this**

I used DS software to weld the letters 'Baby' together and welded that to the 'Girl' cut.  All of the fonts along with the butterfly are from the Hannah Montana cartridge.  I love the way it turned out.  I also made it to go with the cute little pink and white butterfly outfit she's giving.  TFL!!!  :)
